Friday was Report Card Day and all students should have brought home their first semester report card. This document will keep families up to date on students' current progress toward meeting grade level standards. Please remember that all students have the entire year to show mastery, so this is just a snapshot of their achievement so far. Besides subject grades, report cards include the teachers' comments, attendance, and grades that reflect Successful Learner Behaviors. Please be sure to review all of the information on the report card with your child and assist him or her in reflecting on their strengths, weaknesses, and effort. It is a great time to set new goals. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher directly.
Please be sure to sign the report card envelope and send the empty envelope back to school to be used in June for your child's final report card of the year.
